Delete your account

From inside the app

Open the menu, choose Account, then Delete Account. You will be asked to type your username to confirm. The deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

If you cannot open the app

Email privacy@biotadex.app from the address on the account, or tell us the username, and we will delete it for you.

What is deleted

Your profile and username, your entire collection and the photographs in it, your badges and milestones, your friends and friend requests, your likes and comments, your validation votes, and any events you created. Sanctuaries you hold are released for someone else to claim. Your login is removed, so the email address becomes free to use again.

What is kept

Reports other people filed about your content are kept as a safety record, so that leaving does not erase a moderation history. Service logs are kept in a form that no longer identifies you. Backups may hold deleted data briefly before they expire.
