About Biotadex
Biotadex turns going outside into a collecting game. Players photograph a plant, bird, bug or mushroom, the app identifies it in seconds, and it becomes a new entry in their own field guide. Crates at real landmarks hold numbered stickers to collect and trade, and a five-second listen names the birds and frogs calling nearby. It is free on iPhone and Android.
The founder
Carlos Zuluaga is a founder and dad in Loveland, Colorado, with a background in marketing, branding and building businesses. He built Biotadex on his own, with AI as his main development partner, because he wanted his family looking at the world around them instead of at their phones.
